A regional spatio-temporal analysis of large magnitude snow avalanches using tree rings

Abstract: Abstract. Snow avalanches affect transportation corridors and settlements worldwide. In many mountainous regions, robust records of avalanche frequency and magnitude are sparse or non-existent.
