“…The time is less than 4 d, and the holding time of the dust suppression effect increases as the concentration of the dust suppressant continues to increase. When the dust suppression concentration is 1.3, the dust suppression effect of more than 90% of the sample dust suppression effect retention time reaches 6 d. In order to solve the problem of severe dust pollution in the process of open-pit coal mining and filling, Zhao et al [31] proposed a dust suppression technology and determined the best mass-concentration ratio through the orthogonal test. The results of the wind tunnel simulation test of the dust suppressant configured with the optimal concentration ratio show that the suppression efficiency of the composite dust suppressant on the total dust and inhalable dust can reach 81.90% and 87.06%, respec- Figure 7 shows that the dust suppression efficiency of the dust suppressant solution will increase with the increase in the quality of modified starch in the dust suppressant.…”

“…Considerable climate data spanning nearly a decade reveal that the Hollinhe area experiences exceptionally cold winters, with temperatures plummeting to as low as −39 • C. This extreme cold makes it highly likely for water applied to mine roads to freeze. In light of these findings from the characterization of truck road dust samples in the North Open-Pit Mine, it was evident that the proposed dust suppressant must fulfill multiple functions concurrently, including wetting, moisturizing, preventing ice formation, and resisting freezing [12,13].…”

“…Dust pollution has long been a significant environmental and occupational hazard problem in industrial and mining enterprises, and the associated health risks have become a critical concern [1][2][3]. As a result, the development and application of dust suppression technologies have attracted much attention in recent years, and spray dust suppression technology, as one of the most commonly used methods for controlling dust, has received extensive research attention [4][5][6].…”
