Abstract: Abstract. Slab-symmetric dielectric-loaded structures, consisting of a vacuum gap between dielectric-lined conducting walls, have become a subject of interest for short-wavelength acceleration due to their simplicity, relatively low power density, and advantageous beam dynamics.
