A Review of the Literature: Motor Vehicle Safety Initiatives in the Oil and Gas Extraction Industry

Abstract: BACKGROUND Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in the U.S. oil and gas extraction industry, resulting in approximately thirty worker fatalities every year.
