Abstract:The medicinal plant Calycopteris floribunda Roxb. Lam. commonly known as “Ukshi” belongs to the family Combretaceae. Calycopteris floribunda is a large evergreen climbing shrub native of Bangladesh and India. It is widely distributed in the central and southern parts of India and also found in south-east Asian countries.
