According to CCRI 2015 (Central Citrus Research Institute), Citrus is cultivated In 114 countries across the globe, Of these, 53 countries commercially cultivate citrus, with a combined output of more than 115 million tonnes. China tops the list with 22.9 million tonnes on a production basis, followed by Brazil with 22.7 million tonnes and the USA with 10.4 million tonnes. India is in 4th place, with 10.48 million tonnes.
