Two new oxygenated diterpenes, fusicoccanin and neofusicoccantriepoxide, were isolated and identified from the Taiwanese liver wort Plagiochila peculiaris. The latter compound possesses a methyl‐rearranged fusicoccane skeleton. In addition, known secoaromadendranes and macrocyclic chloro‐bisbibenzyls were also isolated from the polar fraction. P. peculiaris rep resents a very complex chemo‐type of this genus.
