A Simulation Model to Determine the Capacity of a Y-Type Waterway Intersection for a Real Seaport

Abstract: Introduction:In this paper, Arena software has been used to simulate a complex system, which contains traffic rules, a tidal window, weather conditions and different fleet types.Methods:We have determined the capacity of a Y-type waterway intersection with a sailing speed of 10 knots for the Panjin seaport in China.
