“…It seems unlikely that this is relevant to the successful outcome of surgery, since the three unsuccessful cases showed the same reduction in peak flow rate and three of the successful cases showed no such reduction. Morgan [1970] reported in his initial series that all 20 patients experienced some difficulty in voiding, although in a later study involving 127 patients, despite a 93 % subjective cure rate, only three patients experienced symptoms of incomplete bladder emptying [Morgan and Farrow, 19771. No objective data however, were presented in that study.…”
