“…The excellent function of the cortisol aptasensor was characterized after transfer to polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The cortisol aptasensor consisted of aptamer-conjugated poly­(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT)-polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofibers (NFs), which were used as a channel as they were proven for cortisol detection in previous studies and showed high performance with a detection limit of 10 pM and high selectivity in the presence of several interfering materials at concentrations 100 times higher than that of cortisol. This extends the high potential utility of swappable and wearable cortisol aptasensors. These results introduce the possibility of a portable and on-site monitoring system by being successfully applied on various substrates.…”
