Abstract:Eight natto-producing factories were surveyed for the contamination of phages that infect Bacillus subtilis (natto). A total of 160 sampling points, including manufacturing pipelines, instruments, floors, drainage ports, containers, and building facilities were inspected by wiping the surfaces.
