A system design method from programming logic to multiple-valued logic

Abstract: This paper presents features of a method for mapping one multiple-valued logic system into another. The first logic system is used to represent software designs, and the second logic system is used to represent hardware designs. Software logic is based upon rules, while hardware logic is based upon various multiple-valued (Post) algebras. Theorems are developed and applied to important design principles.
