Representation and modeling using the building information modeling (BIM) methodology of civil works have become the subject of increasing attention in recent years, thanks to the potential offered by Open Infrastructure BIM (I-BIM). However, the complexity of infrastructure works, i.e., the variety of construction and technological systems, makes Open I-BIM very complex and challenging. The lack of systemic knowledge on the subject is another challenging factor. The aim of the following research work is to provide a synoptic overview of the existing scientific research, accompanied by the most recent studies in the field of computer modeling, its applications, and the main opportunities that Open I-BIM offers to the infrastructure sector. After a thorough review of 198 scientific articles published between 2013 and 2023, this study systematically presents a holistic review and critical reflection on the current status of the use of Open BIM in the infrastructure sector, with a focus on the development of the tools and methods used. The outcome of this work constitutes a systematic review of the literature with a bibliometric analysis on Open I-BIM, which is able to provide a knowledge base for identifying research trends, common problems, and the potential of developed methods.

Leveraging Topic Modelling to Analyze Biomedical Research Trends from the PubMed Database Using LDA Method

Biomedical research has become an essential entity in human life. However, finding trends related to research topics in the health sector contained in the repository is a challenging matter. In this study, we implemented topic modelling to analyze biomedical research trends using the LDA method. Topic modelling was carried out using data from 7000 articles from PubMed, which were processed with text processing such as lowercase, punctuation removal, tokenization, stop-word removal, and lemmatization. For topic modelling, the LDA with corpus conditions varied to 75% and 100% for validation. Alpha and beta parameters are also set with variations between 0.01, 0.31, 0.61, 0.91, symmetry, and asymmetry when the number of the corpus is changed. When the number of the corpus is 75%, the optimal number of topics is 7, with a coherence value of 0.52. Whereas when the number of the corpus is 100%, the optimal number of topics is 10 with a coherence value of 0.51. In addition, based on the results of article topic modelling, several topics are trending, including disease diagnosis, patient care, and genetic or cell research. Based on the classification of biomedical topics into seven categories, the optimal accuracy, precision, and recall values using the Random Forest algorithm were obtained, namely 85.57%, 87.36%, and 87.58%. The results of this study suggest that topic modelling using the LDA can be used to identify trends in biomedical research with high accuracy. This information can help stakeholders make informed decisions about the direction of future research.

In response to the imperfect development of the mental health education enhancement system, this paper uses artificial intelligence technology to explore and innovate effective ways to enhance mental health education. This paper firstly constructs the MDP model, value function, strategy evaluation, and strategy enhancement based on artificial intelligence technology to build a feed-forward neural network model. Secondly, it analyzes three aspects of mental health education: the course offering or not, the frequency of the course offering, and the relevant content of the course. Finally, the MDP model with artificial intelligence technology and feed-forward neural network model was used to verify the enhancement path of mental health education, and four aspects of mental health education were analyzed in terms of the cognitive situation, arrangement of content, course offering, and educational teachers and training. The results showed that only 5.875% of the teachers knew a lot about mental health education in schools, 37.25% said they knew more, and 57% said they did not know much about mental health education, which indicates that most teachers do not pay much attention to mental health education. Thus, it is feasible to explore ways to improve mental health education based on the context of artificial intelligence.
