Signs of congestive heart failure developed in a 1 ‐year old male Irish Setter during a 3‐week period. Pleural effusion and right atrial enlargement were evident on radiographs. The electrocardiogram had low voltage and small negative P‐waves in leads II, III and aVF. The dog did not respond to therapy. At necropsy, a neoplasm was found involving parts of the right atrial wall and filling most of the right atrial lumen. The histological diagnosis was fibroma.
