Abstract:Pyramidalis muscle is a muscle situated in the lower part of rectus sheath. It shows considerable variations. This muscle is known to vary considerably in size and present either unilaterally or bilaterally. A large number of studies support the racial variation in its occurrence. Here we describe an absence of the muscle in the rectus sheath.
