Absolute Helical Arrangement of Stacked Benzene Rings: Heterogeneous Double‐Helical Interaction Comprising a Hydrogen‐Bonding Belt and an Offset Parallel Aromatic–Aromatic‐Interaction Array

Abstract: Trennung ist die Konsequenz: Selbstorganisierte chirale Überstrukturen, resultierend aus zwei unterschiedlichen helicalen Wechselwirkungen, wurden in der Kristallstruktur der achiralen Verbindung 1 gefunden. Durch die Wechselwirkungen entstehen Ar‐H⋅⋅⋅π‐ und OH⋅⋅⋅OC‐Anordnungen. Das Racemat der Helices spaltet sich spontan in individuelle Einkristalle. Nur eine der Hydroxygruppen (grün) ist an der Bildung der helicalen wasserstoffverbrückten Anordnungen beteiligt.
