Abstract:Background: Though a largely preventable disease, liver cancer is now the fastest-increasing cause of cancer death in the US, and it is highly fatal. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common type of liver cancer, and it disproportionally affect racial/ethnic minorities, especially the medically underserved.
