Academic Bachelor and Bachelor of Applied Arts/Sciences in the System of Higher Education

Abstract

The article considers the changes in the higher education setting which are designed to improve the efficiency
 and quality of undergraduate students’ expertise against the background of a comprehensive transition
 toward effecting contracting and the introduction of ‘academic’ and application-oriented bachelor degrees.
 The authors also provide the structure and content of the bachelor-degree Federal state educational
 standards of higher professional education.
