Abstract:The Prco~ value of Sr following 88y decay has been determined to be PKO)K= 0.613 + 0.004 using two independent methods for the measurement of the K x-ray emission rate and a calibrated 7-ray spectrometer for the determination of the disintegration rate. With this result and a K-capture probability PK=0.877_0.003 deduced from literature the K-shell fluorescence yield of Sr is OgK-----0.699-t-0.007.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
