“…Proposed decomposition pathways of organics in packaging material are shown in Figure , which was partly suggested by former studies. ,, HO 2 • may be generated by H 2 O 2 (H 2 O 2 → H 2 O + O 2 , H • + O 2 → HO 2 • ), which is a highly oxidative free radical. This radical can promote the degradation of organic macromolecules and even could further break the benzene rings .…”

“…OH – which dissociates from phosphate buffer system (HPO 4 2– + H 2 O ↔ H 2 PO 4 – + OH – ) can undergo a nucleophilic substitution reaction with the Br-containing organic substances to convert the organic bromine to inorganic bromine. , It has been pointed out in the literature that the OH – also accelerates the ring opening of benzene rings. , More importantly, the OH – provided by the phosphate buffer can neutralize the acid generated during the hydrothermal degradation of the organic materials, so that the pH of the hydrothermal solution was stably maintained at about 6. Thus, the loss of arsenic and gallium caused by the GaAs being corroded by acidic hydrothermal solution was avoided . Therefore, both Na + and OH – ions provided by the phosphate buffer system, through different paths, accelerate the degradation of organic components in packaging materials.…”

“…At the end of the production of the acetic fermented product, other short chain fatty acids were analyzed and quantified, such as butyric acid and propionic, being run 14, employing stirred method at 350 rpm, the assay with the highest production of those acids: butyric acid (0.1 to 15 g L -1 ) and propionic (0.9 to 13 g L -1 ), justifying the considerable ethanol consumption at the end of 28 days. According to Yu et al (2016), during ethanol oxidation into AA, due to some thermal instability, the production of other organic compounds may occur, such as other acids and ketones, which may be undesirable to the process, because they can alter the AA properties as well as produce esters that can also alter the process.…”

“…Acetic acid is one of main and stable intermediates during hydrothermal oxidation of organics [1], which contributes it to be the target product for organic waste utilization [20]. Acetamide is widely used in various industries and plays an important role in our daily life.…”
