“…We have confirmed and extended their experiments and from the analysis of a variety of different mycoplasma strains, it appeared that production of MAS activity was unique to 41 Mycoplasma arthritidis and was not found with other mycoplasma strains. Previously our work has been concerned with lymphocyte cultures derived from mouse spleens [8,[11][12][13].
