The study designed an information system model for Disease Management (DisMan) that met the specifications and needs of a consumer electronics manufacturer. The diseases monitored by this study were diabetes, hypertension and tuberculosis. Data were collected through interviews with the companyâs human resources department and occupational health provider. As for the model, literature and online research were conducted to collect health standards and information system standards on existing DisMan systems. These standards were then compared to the consumer electronics manufacturerâs DisMan. The model was designed by utilizing class, use-case, as well as sequence diagrams. The result was an information system model with a registry system that can specifically support DisMan in a consumer electronics manufacturer. The registry system included a medical alert management system and a self-monitoring system. The latter system was supported by the former system, which can assist the DisManâs staff in monitoring the employeesâ scrupulousness regarding their health care plan as well as notifying the employees on lifestyle management

Diabetes is classified as the world's fastest-growing chronic illness that affects millions of people. It is a very serious disease, but the bright side is that it is treatable and can be managed. Proper education in this view is necessary to achieve essential control and prevent the aggregation of this chronic sickness. We have developed a healthcare social network that provides methods for distance learning; opportunities for creation of virtual self-help groups where patients can get information and establish interactions among each other in order to exchange important healthcare-related information; discussion forums; patient-to-healthcare specialist communication. The mission of our virtual community is to increase the independence of people with diabetes, self-management, empower them to take care of themselves, make their everyday activities easier, enrich their medical knowledge, and improve their health condition, make them more productive, and improve their communication with other patients with similar diagnoses. The ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of their life.

World Health Organization showed at one year about 287 000 women died most of them during and following pregnancy and childbirth in Africa and south Asia. This paper suggests mHealth system for serving pregnant women, that proposed system is first an effective mHealth system works base on mobile GIS to select adjacent care centre or hospital maternity on Google map at online registration for woman pregnant, that is done when the pregnant woman will send SMS via GPRS network contains her ID and coordinates (Longitude and Latitude) the server when receive it will search database support that system and using the same infrastructure for help the pregnant women at her location (home, market, etc) in emergency cases when the woman send SMS contains her coordinates for succoring. Implement the proposed pregnant women system shows more effective from view of cost than other systems because it works in economic (SMS) mode and from view of serve the system can easy and rapidly manage when achieving locally registration, succoring in emergency cases, change the review date of pregnant woman, as well as different types of advising.
