Abstract: This paper presents the development of an intelligent controller for vibration suppression of a horizontal flexible plate structure using hybrid Fuzzy-proportional-integral-derivative controller tuned by Ziegler-Nichols tuning rules and intelligent proportional-integral-derivative controller tuned by artificial bee colony algorithm.
