Active vibration isolation on electromechanical coupling suspension system of a quarter-vehicle via modal space controller design

Abstract: The active vibration isolation of a quarter-vehicle suspension system using an electromagnetic damper was achieved by designing the feedback gain of a linear quadratic regulator (LQR) and H-∞ controllers in modal coordinates.
