Adaptive Decoupling Design of Constant Temperature and Humidity Control System Based on GPC and Multi-Model Control

Abstract: In view of characteristics of large time delay, multi-interference and strong coupling in temperature and humidity control system, an adaptive decoupling strategy based on generalized predictive control (GPC) and multi-model control is proposed in this paper. The proposed strategy mainly contains muti-model control, GPC decoupling control and adaptive algorithm. In multi-model control, multi-model sets are established to prevent the model mismatch in different working conditions. Meanwhile, this paper designs … Show more

“…The system is the temperature and humidity coupling system of double input double output and it is shown in Fig. 3 (Huang, 2011;Zhang et al, 2012). T SP and H SP express value of the temperature and relative humidity, respectively, ∆U 1 is control increment of channel l (temperature channel), ∆U 2 is control increment of channel 2 (humidity channel); A ij (i, j = 1, 2) express coupling step model between channel j and channel i. y T and y H express the actual temperature and humidity value.…”

“…Compared with the conventional feed-forward neural network, the recurrent neural network (RNN) has internal feedback, and therefore it can reflect the dynamic characteristic. In which, the diagonal recurrent neural network (DRNN) possesses stronger processing and presentation skill, by way of a simplification of RNN, it can be more conveniently applied to control system to realize the decoupling control of multi-variable system [4][5][6].…”
