“…In the present small single‐center study of 20 patients with mitral stenosis, PBMV performed under echocardiography guidance only yielded favorable immediate hemodynamic and clinical improvement in all patients and rate of in‐hospital complications was low with no deaths, similar to the outcomes obtained with the traditional procedure performed under fluoroscopy guidance .
