Aging and Intelligence

Abstract: Phenomena of aging effects on intellectual and cognitive functioning are investigated by research approaches at the psychometric, information‐processing, and biological levels. Evidence from these approaches complements each other and should be considered conjointly for a comprehensive overview of aging and intelligence. Recent neurcomputational approaches help to integrate theory and data across these levels.
