Allergic dermatitis by Dirofilaria repens in a dog: clinical picture and treatment

Abstract: Adult stages of Dirofilaria repens (Nematoda, Filarioidea) reside in the subcutaneous tissues of the definitive or occasional host as dogs, other animals, and humans, and it is transmitted by mosquitoes.
