Abstract: ZusammenfassungImpfungen sind der Goldstandard zur Prophylaxe gefährlicher Infektionserkrankungen. Show more

“…Since the introduction of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, adverse reactions have occasionally been reported for all types of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines. 1 , 2 , 3 One of these rare side effects is ischemic stroke, which usually occurs a few days after SARS-CoV-2 vaccinations. [3] Ischemic stroke a few hours after vaccination with an mRNA-based SARS-CoV-2 vaccine has been reported only rarely.…”

“…Since the introduction of both the vector-based and the messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA)-based SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, adverse reactions have been occasionally reported, either in the medical literature or in public media. [ 1 2 ] One of these side effects is venous or arterial thrombosis due to suspected hypercoagulability. [ 3 ] Ischaemic stroke shortly after vaccination with a vector-based SARS-CoV-2 vaccine has been only rarely reported.…”
