“…In this regard, real-time data assessment methods, such as ambulatory assessments (AA), have been proven to provide more accurate data of dynamic processes and environmental context-specific associations as well as affective states, compared to retrospective assessments methods that can produce biased data ( Fahrenberg et al, 2007 ; Wilhelm and Schoebi, 2007 ; Ebner-Priemer and Trull, 2009 ; Dunton, 2017 ).
