“…The 31 P NMR spectrum of rac-7 displayed one sharp resonance at δ 62.0 with 77 Se satellites. Its coupling constant ( 1 J P-Se 770 Hz) fell within the range of magnitudes reported for aminophosphines, 23 suggesting that the electron-donating ability of 6 was somewhat weaker than those of triarylphosphines. 24 Coordination behavior of bis(aminophosphine) 6 was then examined through the complexation with Pd: rac-6 was reacted with [PdCl(π-C 3 H 5 )] 2 in the presence of KPF 6 We briefly checked the function of chiral phosphine ligand 6 in the Pd-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation of 1,3-diphenylpropenyl acetate (9) with dimethyl malonate (10).…”

“…There is a good established correlation between 1 J PSe and the electronic properties of the parent phosphorus ligands, which takes the form of an inverse relationship with the σ -basicity. 15 The value of the 1 J PSe coupling constant for 4 is significantly smaller than the aminophosphine selenides derived from piperazine, which we reported earlier 16 (Ph 2 P(Se)NC 4 H 8 NC 6 H 5, 1 J PSe = 773.8 Hz; Ph 2 P(Se)NC 4 H 8 NC 2 H 5 , 1 J PSe = 765.6 Hz), suggesting that PPh 2 NC 5 H 9 CH 2 C 6 H 5 is a strong σ -donor and the electron withdrawing of 4-benzylpiperidine group attached to phosphorus is low.…”

“…3 The P N distance in 3 is slightly shorter than the parent aminophosphine and reflect the double bond nature of the P E group. 16,27,28 As seen in Table S1, the angle of C31 P30 N27 for Some geometric parameters of the molybdenum complex are given in Table S2. The P N bond distances (1.745-1.765 A • ) for the molybdenum complex are similar to the generally accepted P N single bond lengths (1.75-1.80 A • ) indicating the absence of pπ −dπ P N backbonding.…”

“…After adding water, the white solids, (4‐oxo‐2‐phenylquinazolin‐3(4 H )‐yl) phenyl phosphinic acid ( 11 ) and N ‐(4‐oxo‐2‐phenylquinazolin‐3(4 H )‐yl) phenyl phosphonamidic acid ( 12 ) were obtained, respectively. Furthermore, the latter compounds were also isolated in moderate yields through oxidation of compounds 7B and 8B, respectively, by aqueous hydrogen peroxide in tetrahydrofuran (Scheme ).…”
