Cette recherche quantitative descriptive vise à évaluer la qualité de l’environnement physique et psychologique au regard de l’émergence de l’écrit de 30 classes d’éducation préscolaire québécoises 4 ans observées avec l’outil ELLCO (Smith et al., 2008). Les résultats révèlent que les classes participantes présentent un environnement peu enrichi d’écrits et de matériel d’écriture, et que le soutien offert en émergence de l’écrit est de qualité considérée faible à de base. Cette étude soulève l’importance d’améliorer l’environnement physique en maternelle et les pratiques éducatives mises en œuvre par l’enseignante afin de favoriser l’émergence de l’écrit des enfants de quatre ans. Environmental actions without protection desire and skills would be vain. The task of education is to create such thirst and motive under the encouragement of the community. For this reason, it is expected to open students' future green new horizons of environmental awareness with teaching methods and research tools which could enhance students' environmental literacy, when largely promoting the low-carbon and energy-saving sustainable life. In this case, it is necessary to deeply understand students' environmental awareness and teach them with strict curriculum mapping and design to reinforce students' environmental competence so as to cope with currently extreme climate change.Aiming at students of Tungfang Design University, Taiwan, total 221 students, as the experimental objects, are preceded computer-aided instruction integrated environmental education. The experimental teaching is preceded 3 hours per week for 15 weeks (total 45 hours). The research results show positive relations between 1.environmental education and learning outcome, 2.learning outcome and environmental literacy, and 3.environmental education and environmental literacy. Suggestions are proposed according to the results, expecting to assist domestic students in enhancing self-development through the awareness of the responsibility for environmental issues. Especially, internationally concerned environmental issues would guide the goal of environmental education to social prospective.

This research aims to investigate the effect of socio-scientific issues (SSI) based instruction on preservice science teachers' soft skills and environmental awareness. By applying cluster random sampling, 83 preservice science teachers (PSTs) were selected from the Department of Science Education at a university in Indonesia. The participants were divided into two groups which comprised the experimental group who were taught using SSI-based instruction, while the control group received direct instruction. The quasi-experimental study was carried out through a pre-and posttest control group design. Data was gathered quantitatively using soft skills and environmental awareness questionnaires. The soft skills questionnaire comprised six sub-skills questions: communication, collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and social interaction. The environmental awareness questionnaire contained questions about the PSTs' attitudes, behavior, and willingness to act. These sub-skills were developed based on literature studies and reviews of previous studies. Face validity was conducted by the experts, and Cronbach's alpha coefficients of 0.84 (for soft skills) and 0.86 (for environmental awareness) were obtained. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The result showed that SSI-based instruction had a significant effect on improving preservice science teachers' soft skills and environmental awareness. After being taught using SSI-based instruction, all the sub-skills of the soft skills of the experimental group had increased compared to before. A similar trend was also found in their scores for environmental awareness. All the components of environmental awareness, after lecturing using SSI-based instruction, showed a significant increase compared to before. These results support the claim that SSI-based instruction fosters soft skills and promotes environmental awareness.
