“…We included Schwartz’s norm activation theory because of its successful application in multicountry analyses of pro-environmental behavior (e.g., Schultz & Zelezny, 1998). We selected the theory of reasoned action based on the studies by management researchers that have successfully included attitude and norm components in their analyses of environmental management practices in corporate settings (e.g., Cordano & Frieze, 2000; Flannery & May, 2000).
