An Empirical Study on Factors Influencing the Intention to use Mobile Learning

Abstract: Lately, the use of mobile learning has increased in higher education at a global level. Especially after the new Coronavirus . Therefore, trust issues towards the benefits of mobile learning are still important matters just as important as quality dimensions (e.g. service quality, information quality and system quality) for both technology and its content. These three factors are existing in the Information System Success Model (ISSM), but the trust is not clearly present. Hence, this study is attempting to ex… Show more

“…The results both gained from quantitative and qualitative data analysis significantly supported that the designed gamified mobile learning model will positively impact students' learning outcomes in accounting education. This result complied with related studies [ 52 , 53 , [55] , [56] , [57] ]. The only rejected prediction was the path of system quality to users' intention, this results against Alkhawaja et al‘s [ 54 ] finding.…”

“…System quality is a factor commonly cited and used by researchers since it has been incorporated into the success model (Gharaibeh & Gharaibeh, 2020). Specifically, it is related to the ability of a system to meet user needs through reliability, ease of use, functionality, flexibility, and other metrics (DeLone & McLean, 2016).…”

“…Mobile learning applications have numerous benefits. First, learning processes via mobile learning can happen anywhere and anytime, and the learning procedure is not limited to a specific place [18][19][20][21][22][23]. Second, it can help learners to enhance their dialogue/technical skills and competence sets to find answers to questions and agree to information sharing [24][25][26][27][28].…”
