An Experimental Determination of Human Hand Accuracy with a DataGlove

Abstract: A three-part experiment was conducted to determine the accuracy, repeatability and linearity of a human hand manipulating the DataGlove. Accuracy and repeatability of finger flexure were investigated with repeated measurements of three calibration positions. Linearity of finger flexure was investigated with steady finger and thumb curling motions.
