This research article endeavors to explore teachers' perspectives on effective homework practices and the standards for assigning high-quality homework tasks. Using a qualitative research approach within interpretive paradigms, the study conducted interviews with experienced school teachers through convenience sampling. The investigation delves into strategies for customizing homework to meet students' needs, the role of parental engagement, and the importance of balancing the quantity and quality of homework assignments. Although homework serves as a vital tool in reinforcing learning and enhancing academic skills beyond classroom hours, various challenges hinder its completion, including comprehension gaps and issues with time management and parental involvement. The study seeks to uncover educators' insights into the types of homework anticipated by students and the factors shaping effective homework practices. The findings emphasize the need to balance parental involvement to promote children's independence and responsibility, avoiding excessive assistance that may undermine the intrinsic value of homework. Moreover, the study advocates for prioritizing homework quality over quantity to mitigate negative impacts on student well-being, emphasizing meaningful learning experiences and considering diverse preferences when designing assignments.

Afyonkarahisar'da ilk Mevlevihane'nin Arif Çelebi zamanında 14. yüzyılın ilk çeyreğinde inşa edildiği düşünülmektedir. Ahşap malzemeden yapıldığını düşündüğümüz ilk Mevlevihane'nin yerine, Abâ Pûş-i Bâlî tarafından yenisi inşa edilmiştir. Mevlevihane yapı kompleksi 20. yüzyıl başına kadar çok sayıda yangın ve onarım geçirmiştir. 1925 yılında tekke ve zaviyelerin kapatılmasına kadar Mevlevihane olarak işlev gören yapının türbe, semahane, mescit, şerbethane ve son cemaat yeri mekânlarının tümünü kapsayan alan, günümüzde Mevlevi Türbe Camii olarak adlandırılmaktadır. 2008 yılında orijinale uygun olarak onarılan yapı günümüzde hala faaliyet göstermektedir. Caminin merkezi kubbe altında toplanan harim bölümü, semahane ve türbe kısmından oluşmaktadır. Merkezi kubbenin taşıyıcısı büyük kemer, duvara bitişik dörtgen formda mermer malzemeden profilli sütun başlıkları üzerine oturmaktadır. Mihrap önü mekânı ve şerbethane (kadınlar mahfili) olarak adlandırılan bölüm 5 küçük kubbe ile örtülüdür. Son cemaat yerinin konik üst örtüsü iç kısımda dört bölümden meydana gelen iki çapraz tonozdan oluşmaktadır. Kubbe içleri, tonozlar, kemerler ve pencere üzerleri birbirinin tekrarı rumiler ve kıvrım dallardan oluşan bitkisel kalem işi süslemeler ile bezenmiştir. Son dönem Osmanlı cami ve sivil mimari örneklerinin karakteristik özelliklerini taşıyan yapının süslemeleri neoklasik üslup ve eklektik üslup arası geçiş dönemine ait batılı, yerel süsleme özellikleri ile dikkat çekmektedir. Çalışmamızda Mevlevi Türbe Camii ayrıntılı bir biçimde tanıtılarak değerlendirilmiş ve Anadolu Türk mimarisi içerisindeki yeri ve önemi ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

The purpose of this research was to examine the experiences of teachers, students, and parents on homework purpose and student feedback in primary school. The qualitative methodology was adopted for this research. This qualitative study used data from 20 teachers, 20 students, and 20 parents of the fifth-grade primary school in four municipalities of Kosovo. Data were collected through semistructured interviews and were analyzed through the thematic analysis method. The research results provided an overview of the reality of the way teachers approached homework. Research showed that there was a lack of a general standard, in almost all schools, related to homework assignments and there was a lack of teachers’ professional development for homework planning. Also, this research showed that the purpose of homework was closely related to how teachers planned and understood the role of homework, as well as how teachers built collaboration with students.
