Abstract: Postoperative local recurrence and metastasis are non-negligible challenges in clinical cancer treatment. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has presented a great potential in preventing cancer recurrence owing to its noninvasiveness and high specificity for local irradiation of tumor sites.
