Analise Comparativa De Metodos Numericos De Equacoes Algebrico-Diferenciais

Abstract: This work is concerned With the numerical solution of Differential-Algebraic Equations (DAE) of index zero and one. Among the numerical methods for solving DAE's we give special attention to Backward Differentiation Formulas (BDF) and Implicit Runge-Kutta (IRK) methods. A defailed study of order of convergence for these methods is presented. A description of the algorithms employed for solving DAE's of index zero and one is also considered. Finally we compare the performance of the two methods by using two kno… Show more

“…Os resultados negativos no ensaio de difusão em gel podem ser decorrentes de características lipofílicas dos extratos testados, pois, meio de cultura que apresenta ágar como agente solidifi cante é considerado um gel perfeito (Romeiro, 2001), meio apropriado para substâncias com características hidrofílicas.…”

“…The antimicrobial activity of LGEO against pathogens was determined by standard Disk Susceptibility Tests (Botelho et al, 2007c) tested against Bacillus cereus (ATCC 33018), Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 15442), Shigella flexineri (ATCC 12022), Klebsiella pneumoniae (ATCC 10031) and Sthaphylococcus aureus (ATCC 12692) by using the agar diffusion method (Romeiro, 2001). The clinically isolated bacterial and inoculum of all strain was obtained from fresh colonies grown on Müeller Hinton agar plates.…”

“…The plates were incubated in a bacteriological incubator at 37°C for 24 h reading of performance was done after 24 and 48 h. The sensitivity of the sample was considered: halos ≥ 10 mm. The tests were accompanied by positive control with antibiotic chloramphenicol (30 mg) and negative control with ethanol (Romeiro, 2001). …”
