In urban areas in Indonesia, traffic jams are usually not spared due to the large number of movement activities caused by the community. As happens on Gajah Mada Road, Denpasar, there are pretty frequent traffic jams, considering that this area is located in the middle of the city, where there are shophouses or shops situated side by side almost all the way. This problem is worthy and interesting to research to find out the situation. If passing vehicles are made to ride public transportation, how significant an impact will be, considering that the public transportation (Trans Metro Dewata) that often crosses this road is not operating as intended. The analysis was carried out in 3 time periods, with each period, namely morning at 06.00 - 08.00 WITA, noon at 11.00 - 13.00 WITA, and afternoon at 16.00 - 18.00 WITA. Based on the use of analysis of road performance in the form of degree of saturation with adjusted road service levels, and varied by adding assumptions regarding the use of public transportation that is likely to be effective. So, the results obtained align with the direction of this research, which found that between the original traffic flow conditions and the existing assumptions, there was a change of 7% to 24% in the level of road service. This is quite influential because it can be applied as a solution to the congestion.

Rute perjalanan dari Kabupaten Cilacap ke Kabupaten Bandung yang melalui Jl. Tegal-Cilacap hingga Jl. Raya Cileunyi yang tergolong jalan luar kota memiliki volume lalu lintas yang cukup tinggi pada beberapa segmen karena memegang peran utama dalam menunjang pergerakan masyarakat. Tingginya arus lalu lintas dan adanya aktivitas sisi jalan pada beberapa segmen menyebabkan arus lalu lintas yang tidak lancar yang kemudian menyebabkan penurunan kecepatan kendaraan. Hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan arus lalu lintas tersendat dan mendorong terjadinya kemacetan. Hal ini kemudian memberikan pengaruh terhadap pengeluaran pengendara karena biaya operasional kendaraan dan nilai waktu perjalanan meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung biaya kemacetan lalu lintas di sepanjang rute Kabupaten Cilacap hingga Kabupaten Bandung yang dapat diestimasikan oleh peningkatan biaya operasional kendaraan dan kerugian waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya kemacetan pada rute perjalanan Kabupaten Bandung ke Kabupaten Cilacap sebesar Rp. 256.087.725/jam puncak. Sehingga dapat diperoleh biaya kemacetan rata-rata sebesar Rp. 1.219.552/km. Persentase biaya kemacetan menurut jenis kendaraan terdiri atas Kendaraan Ringan sebesar 66%, Kendaraan Berat 2 As sebesar 23%, dan Kendaraan Berat 3 As sebesar 11%. Hubungan derajat kejenuhan (VCR) dan biaya kemacetan lalu lintas dengan koefisien determinasi 0,897 berupa fungsi eksponensial dengan biaya kemacetan Y = 26.363e4,9665x dan x sebagai VCR.

Traffic accident is one of the traffic problems that caused deaths, injuries and material loses. The high number of traffic accident is an indicator of the low level of road traffic safety. Krian – Taman Sidoarjo road has become one of black site area. According to data from the Sidoarjo Resort Police, there have been 66 traffic accidents during 2015 to 2020. The majority of accidents involve freight transport compared to passenger transport. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to find out the factors of freight transport drivers that affect the possibility of traffic accidents in Krian – Taman Sidoarjo road. Methods of data collection using questionnaires to drivers of freight transportation. While the analystical method used is descriptive analysis and logistic regression using data from questionnaires. The result of research shows that the older the driver, the higher the probability of being involved in a traffic accident
