Analisis Biomassa Dan Cadangan Karbon Pada Ekosistem Lamun Di Desa Teluk Bakau Kabupaten Bintan

Show more

“…This is following the opinion of Harimbi et al 10 , the biomass value will be directly proportional to the density value so that the density affects the biomass. This is confirmed by the opinion of Heriyanto et al 11 , which states that the high value of seagrass biomass is in line with the high value of seagrass vegetation density.…”

“…The existence of coastal communities has interaction with mangrove ecosystem, for example, the utilization of wood extracted from mangrove for building materials (Hendrawan et al 2018). Since most mangrove areas are under the authority of government (which are often considered open access by some people) and they are located in a sandy coastal area around the estuary which is easily accessible by humans, mangrove forests are prone to be exploited and disturbed (Heriyanto et al 2020). Various anthropogenic activities that threaten mangroves in Indonesia are detailed below.…”

“…Mangroves in Indonesia are generally under the authority of the government, where in the view of the community, mangroves are open access, so in conditions of easy access, mangroves will be used uncontrollably. This makes mangroves vulnerable to degradation [14]. Over-exploitation that causes mangrove degradation in the study locations also occurs in other areas in Indonesia.…”
