“…According to the foundations Fundación Telefónica and Fundación Itinerarium (2014), mobile learning can promote the commitment of students by encouraging motivation and the perception of their own learning and by enhancing student participation. Similarly, as pointed out by Dumont, Istance, and Benavides (2010), a key factor in improving learning is active student involvement and the use of applications such as Socrative that introduce a more motivating and active methodology in the university classroom (Medrano, Mosquera, and Melón 2018).…”

“…In general, research has highlighted the potential and impact of digital tools such as the Socrative application within the university classroom and has examined how such tools favor the participation, collaboration and motivation of students (Balta, Perera-Rodríguez, and Hervás-Gómez 2018;Balta and Tzafilkou 2019;Medrano, Mosquera, and Melón 2018;Paz-Albo 2014;Paz-Albo and Hervás 2016). Learning through mobile devices is an emerging trend within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), and different authors (see Anderson 2010;Paz-Albo 2014) have positively assessed this trend because it increases the active involvement of students in the teaching-learning process.…”

“…Once the first stage of the cBook development is finished, a discussion with all project partners follows in which feedback and suggestions for improvement is provided. The guidelines provided by the project coordination helped to create a unified version of the different teams' contributions, and followed four different lines of improvement: 1) making the journey through the interactive book more fluid, so that the motivation of the student is maximized (Medrano, Mosquera & Melón, 2018) 2) betting more for visuals and interactive tasks rather than too heavy theoretical parts, 3) connecting all different modules and eliminating duplicities and 4) creating a comprehensive structure of the contents that served as a reference for other teams not overlapping and developing the same ideas. On top of this, a style guide was agreed to make the entire cBook coherent and cohesive from a formal perspective.…”

“…Hoy en día, es fundamental que las universidades escuchen con atención a sus stakeholders especialmente a docentes y estudiantes (Medrano, Mosquera, & Melón, 2018), y reducir la desconfianza hacia las universidades (Diez-Matín, 2018). En la revisión bibliografía se aprecia como la satisfacción se describe como una de las variables principales en los estudios de análisis de la relación, ya que permite medir la relación existente entre los stakeholders y la institución.…”
