The collaboration carried out by the Directorate General of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology through the Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) program in tertiary institutions is an effort to increase recognition of concerns about the certificates of course participants and training which are still underestimated. The agreement is later expected to provide benefits for LKP graduates in seeking educational equality. LKP participants have the opportunity to continue their education at Higher Education and be recognized for their competence which is converted to semester credit units (SKS). The research aims to explain how efforts to increase the recognition or existence of LKP outcomes can be provided through the mechanism of RPL provisions with LKP output experiences, so this study investigated a policy perspective on RPL more deeply. This research is library research conducted by searching books, articles, and related documents as well as relevant laws and regulations, to then be analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that there is still a need for clarity in the form of detailed and clear guidelines for recognition between all campuses that have vocational study programs, especially those appointed to organize RPL, relating to conversion and assessment in equality of quality and adjustment to the curriculum.

This research aims to identify the Bajo’s local wisdom in preservation sea and coastal area in the form of teaching material in the Basic Natural Science (BNS) focused on environment preservation. The type of research is research and development. Teaching material is arranged based on the principle and procedures of developing a 4-D model, there are: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Teaching material draft validated by two matter experts, one language experts, and one design expert. Teaching material draft tried to the Language and Literature Education students with 10 people in the small group and 40 people in the large group. The average validation results were 83.73% (very good) and did not need revision. Revised sections: cover, image source, chapter display, and change the unsuitable image. The small group student trials result obtained 80.68% (good) and large groups obtained 82.95% (good). The implication of this research is as an alternative solution to maintain and enhance the local wisdom value of the Bajo’s in preserving the sea and coast through teaching materials.

Media diperlukan dalam proses pembelajaran, karena kegiatan pembelajaran merupakan proses menyampaikan informasi diantara sumber(guru)dan penerima(siswa). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan media visual sebagai upaya mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Metode penelitian kepustakaan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi yang terdapat di ruang perpustakaan yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan media dan tujuan pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi artikel, buku, dan dokumen pendukung lain yang kemudian dianalisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan memanfaatkan media visual dalam proses pembelajaran dapat membantu siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan visual. Disamping itu, media visual menjadi alat belajar yang dapat mengembangkan imajinasi siswa dalam kegiatan belajar. Sehingga, penelitian ini menggambarkan pemanfaatan media visual sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa untuk meningkatkan penguasaan mereka terhadap peristiwa yang tidak mungkin dihadirkan di dalam kelas.
