Analysis of causes and measures to reduce early neonatal mortality after cesarean section

Abstract: We have performed a selective expert evaluation of 111 cases of lethal outcomes of newborns delivered by cesarean section. In the total number of operations performed during the study period, the number of neonates who died by means of this surgical intervention was 5.8%. The incidence of infant deaths after cesarean section in the early neonatal period among all neonatal deaths during the same period reached 24.8%.
