The coexistence of Bahasa Indonesia and Javanese has become an issue in the Javanese language preservation. Such strong contact is finally resulting in bilingual individuals in which language interference often occur. In this study, however, is aiming at describing how and why Bahasa Indonesia is interfering Javanese in Javanese children speech. By using task-based approach by Grosjean, this study manipulated language production in Javanese children using wordless narrative book Frog, Where Are You? created by Mercer Mayer. The results show that Bahasa Indonesia is interfering Javanese in phonic, morphological, syntactic, lexical, and even semantic aspects. Nevertheless, lexical level interference is the most noticeable interference since both language share quite similar structure. It is believed that, in sociolinguistics perspective, Bahasa Indonesia has gradually shift Javanese gradually. It is also seen that Javanese children with strong exposure of Bahasa Indonesia are eventually perceive more Bahasa Indonesia structure than Javanese.

Lexical Analysis on Writing Interference of Medical Students

One of the impacts that can be observed on language differences during learning English is interference. Indonesian medical students have problem with writing; what they said did not reflect what they meant to. This descriptive analysis study identified the interference on medical students while doing writing activity in the class. Four students were chosen randomly as the subjects to give their written diagnosis. The analysis was done on basis of lexical interference after categorizing formal error on their writing. The result showed that error distributions were omissions, coinage, claque, misselection, borrowing, misordering and overinclusion, where the most prominent was omission. This problem may happen due to first language, language learning process and the English words themselves. The strategy of writing instruction can be started from vocabulary understanding to minimize writing errors.

Uzbekistanis a multilingual country, therefore the problems of multididactics in higher education has been arisen for the last period. This paper offers the current ideas in multilingualism, multilingual assumptions for teaching an additional foreign language and implications of the changes of instructional input in the context of multididactics. In particular, the article aims to look into the issues of teaching additional foreign language for occupational purpose in theUzbekistancontext. This study emphasizes the specificity of the cognitive process in teaching and learning two foreign languages for vocational aims and presents the principles of multilingual didactics. More specifically, the article brings an overview of didactic principles in the context of positive and negative transfer of the previous language experiences in learning Italian as additional foreign language atTashkent-TurinPolytechnicUniversity. The successful methods and techniques for application the didactic principles into practice of teaching the Italian language are also described within this article.
