“…In fact, following the scientific method was challenging for the participants, most of whom (62%) had not specialized in science during secondary school, so identifying independent, dependent, and control variables; identifying, collecting and arranging data; specifying experimental conditions and so on were intrinsically very demanding activities (Herranen et al, 2019;Schmidt & Fulton, 2016). Science processes often imply a specialized, precise technical vocabulary, whose meanings may differ from everyday denotations (Polias, 2016;Wellington & Osborne, 2001), so codifying (putting experiences into words) or de-codifying (understanding written instructions) implies for students a two-fold process of translation (Dewi et al, 2020).…”

PCK is an interaction between components in a teacher's content knowledge and pedagogy which is influenced by teaching experience (Dewi et al, 2020). Then, it was developed by incorporating the technology domain into the PCK framework.…”

“…*Literacy learning for children begins long before the child enters formal school (Niklas et al, 2016) as a preliminary milestone that has an impact on a child's future development (Morrison, 2007). Furthermore, children gain the most valuable learning experiences that influence their lives in the future when they are between 0-8 years old (Aljojo et al, 2019;Dewi et al, 2020). They use language orally or in writing to communicate, assuming the existence of an audience and the meaning of the communicative action characterized by spoken and written language activity.…”
