A number of phosphoryl solvates and adducts of beryllium(II) tetrafluoroborate and nitrate is reported. The infrared and Raman spectra of these complexes have been investigated. The anion vibrations in both solvates and adducts are assigned and discussed. The beryllium‐oxygen stretching vibrations of the solvates are assigned and compared to those reported for other complexes. An assignment for the more complicated adduct spectra is attempted.
