Analysis of the Impact of ICT on Sustainable Development using Sustainability Indicators

Abstract: The aim of this study has been the investigation of the effect of ICT on sustainable development in the geographic area of Iran using sustainability indices. “…The conceptual framework proposed by OECD for measuring the information society consists of the following interconnected modules: ICT supply, ICT Infrastructure, ICT demand, ICT products, information and electronic content and ICT in a broader context (OECD 2005).
