The article presents the results of experimental studies of a soilcultivating vibratory roller, as a result of which adequate mathematical models have been obtained that characterize the rolling process from the standpoint of compliance with the reference values of the structural composition of the soil. From the condition of ensuring the best quality of work, the optimal mass of the vibratory roller and the rotational speed of unbalancers are determined. According to the results of the research, it was revealed that the quality of rolling by the developed vibratory roller, estimated by the coefficient of compliance with the standard, is 29.9% better than that of the KKZ-6 roller commercially produced by the industry.
