Analysis of the structural composition of the soil during field studies of a soil-cultivating vibratory roller

Abstract: The article presents the results of experimental studies of a soil-cultivating vibratory roller, as a result of which adequate mathematical models were obtained from the standpoint of compliance with the reference values of the structural composition of the soil. According to the results of the research, it was revealed that the quality of rolling by the developed vibratory roller is 23.9% better than that of the serially produced roller KKZ-6. The optimal speed of movement of the unit and the frequency of rot… Show more

“…Soil moisture averaged 24%. This slightly exceeds the permissible limits (from 18% to 22%), but the main feature of this experiment was the maximum approximation of the conditions to real production conditions, since sowing work was already underway in neighboring fields [9,10].…”

“…After their processing using the STATISTICA 10 program, adequate mathematical models of the process of soil compaction by a wave roller were obtained in natural values of factors (Figure 2) and in coded values of factors (Figure 3). These models represent the dependence of the coefficient of conformity of the standard k se (K) [9,10] on the speed of the wave roller v (x) and the distance from the rib of the hollow cylinder to the inner surface of the seal l (y). The maximum k se value corresponds to the best rolling quality.…”

“…In this case, the question of the tillage quality of a combined plow bottom remains open, in particular, in terms of such parameters as the completeness of incorporating crop residues and the degree of loosening various soil layers of the tilled arable horizon. For this purpose, using general and individual methods, comparative studies were carried out in the field to assess the tillage quality of combined and commercial plow bottoms [8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16].…”
