Analysis on the level of IL-6, IL-21, AMH in patients with auto-immunity premature ovarian failure and study of correlation

Abstract: Expression of interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-21 (IL-21) and anti-müllerian hormone (AMH) in premature ovarian failure (POF) patients were observed to explore the correlation of each indicator and its significance in POF. One hundred and forty-two patients diagnosed with POF in Binzhou City Center Hospital from June 2014 to December 2015 were selected as the observation group. At the same time, another 140 healthy women were selected as the control group. The serum levels of IL-6, IL-2l, AMH, follicle stimul… Show more

“…AMH changes slightly with menstrual cycle and drugs and serves as the optimal marker for ovarian reserve and function. AMH levels were positively associated with the number of oocytes retrieved, ovarian response, E2 and testosterone 16 . Logistics regression analyses showed that the levels of E2 and AMH in non-severe group are higher than that of the severe group, which may play vital roles in the progression of COVID-19.…”

“…Ylmaz et al detected the levels of serum inflammatory marker levels in patients with POI and normal fertile women, and found that the neutrophil-tolymphocyte ratio (NLR) was significantly lower in the POI group than in the normal fertility group, and multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that NLR ≤ 1.5 was an independent risk factor for POI (Yldrm et al, 2015). Yue et al also found that compared to the control group, the serum levels of interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-21 in the primary ovarian failure (POF) group were significantly higher (Sun et al, 2018). Chronic inflammation triggered by obesity might impair oocyte meiosis and oocyte quality (Snider and Wood, 2019).…”

“…Interleukins have been shown to play an important role in the evaluation of ovarian reserve function of intermittent hormone in immune diseases (Knauff et al, 2009). Sun et al (2018) reported that the higher the IL-6 and IL-2l levels, the lower the AMH level, the worse the ovarian reserve function. In our study, IL-10 expression was found to be very high in idiopathic patients and AMH value was found to be low compared to control (Table I).…”
