Rosa, Boff, Gonçalves, Boff, and Nunes (2013) found fruit fly repellence of andiroba oil using traps in a field experiment. In a similar experiment to the one conducted in the present study, Nunes et al (2015a) found mortality of adults and larvae when pear fruits (Pyrus communis) were treated with andiroba oil and supplied to A. fraterculus flies.…”
